Anxiety

Courage is not about having no fear, but about embracing it and continuing on.

Fears and Anxiety

Fear is a natural and essential part of the human experience. It warns us of potential dangers and helps us avoid situations that could harm us. Fear is important and vital for our survival.

However, sometimes fear can become overwhelming and start to limit our daily lives. Fears can take many different forms. Everyone fears different things, and while some fears may seem irrational to others, they can be deeply distressing for the person experiencing them.

In therapy, we always work with acceptance and without judgment. Together, in a safe and supportive environment, we gently explore the origins of your fears and why your body sometimes reacts so strongly.

It is possible to develop a healthy relationship with fear, reducing its impact on your everyday life. The goal of therapy is to increase your acceptance and tolerance of fear while learning and strengthening effective coping strategies.

I have experience supporting people with anxiety. Together, we can find your personal path to managing and overcoming your fears.
